THE VICTIMS OF THE CYCLONE NEED YOUR DONATIONS! The devastation, caused by the Cyclone Nargis, has hit many parts of Burma.  You may contribute donation to the cyclone victims through us. Your donations will be used to provide aid directly to affected communities through effective and trusted local partners.  All donations will go towards provision of aid.  No funds will be used for administration or payment for services. Donate through the Australia Burma Community Development (ABCD) Network www.abcdnetwork.org.au and be confident that your donation will be delivered direct to the victims through local partners. Aid teams will set out to : 1.  Deliver immediate medical care and prevention of infectious diseases 2.  Deliver food, drinking water, water purifi cation and sanitation. 3. Assess and provide any other form of aid required. 4.  Assess psychological trauma and provide trauma counselling. We will be distributing funds for various Burmese associations and interest groups.  In addition, we will also be working with other recognized aid agencies to ensure the Nargis victims get maximum help and support. Our long term aim is to provide resources to rebuild homes and lives of the cyclone victims.
